Shannon Kray
Role: Owner/Program Director, Group Fitness, Pilates mat & Reformer Instructor, Lifestyle & Weight Management Consultant.
Qualifications: Shannon received her Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree from UBC in 1996. Since then, she has been involved in the health and fitness industry as a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Leader and Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant. In 2002, Shannon continued her education by studying the Pilates Method. She currently instructs both Pilates mat and Reformer classes.
Special quality: Her passion for assisting others to live a healthy lifestyle and reach their personal wellness goals continues to grow. She opened Balanced Fitness Studio with the desire to create a warm and inviting studio that offers exception instruction in fitness, pilates, yoga and lifestyle coaching.
Mary Moore
Mary has been working in the fitness industry for the past 20 years. She holds a BA Associates Degree and Certifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness, Yoga and Mats Pilates, Spinning, Pre-postnatal and Third Age. She believes in a holistic approach in which the mind, body and spirit are all key components in achieving a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
In the role of personal trainer, Mary educates her clients by giving them the tools in developing healthy eating habits, setting realistic goals, incorporating regular exercise and stress reduction techniques. Mary's passion lies in the outdoors and is an avid mountain biker and trail runner. Some of her accomplishes include hiking Machu Picchu in Peru, mountain biking in Bolivia, exploring the Amazon in Ecuador, hiking and kayaking in the Patagonia's in Argentina and Chile.
Laurina Goncharova
Larina has her Bachelor of Physiology degree and over 10 years of experience as a Fitness trainer with emphasis on Pilates. She holds ISSA Personal Trainer Certification, Balanced Body and BCRPA Certification in Pilates Module.
Pilates is her biggest passion. She loves to teach and challenge her clients.
