Shannon

Received her Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree from UBC in 1996. Since then, she has been involved in the health and fitness industry as a Pilates Instructor, Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Leader and Weight Management Consultant.Her passion is to assist others in living a healthy lifestyle and reaching their personal wellness goals. She opened Balanced Fitness Studio in 2004 with the desire to create a warm and inviting studio that offers exception instruction in fitness, Pilates and weight management consulting.

Kelly

Kelly completed her certification with the Physical-mind Institute. She has a passion for assisting clients strengthening muscles, developing core stability for mobility, balance, control, kinesthetic awareness and mind-body connection. She assists people of all ages in improving their postural awareness and helping them to incorporate the Pilates principles into their daily activities.

Lorraine

Has worked extensively in the Health & Fitness Industry as a BCRPA Weight Trainer, Personal Trainer, Yoga and Older Age instructor. Due to severe back and neck injuries and a desire to learn more about Pilates, Lorraine completed her certification with Stott Pilates in Reformer, Stability Chair, Arc Barrel and Cadillac. Lorraine is passionate about helping you achieve greater flexibility, increased core strength, better health, wellness and fitness through regular Pilates practice.

Brie completed her comprehensive trailing at Club Pilates. She comes from a long background in dance, where she was first introduced to Pilates as a compliment to her dance training. Turning her passion into a career, Brie teaches fun and dynamic classes, encouraging participants to tune into their body’s and bring balance and alignment into there lives through the practice of Pilates.

Completed the comprehensive Stott Pilates Instructor training on Mat, Reformer, Chair, Cadilac and Barrel through West Coast Pilates, Vancouver. She has passion for working with each client to bring awareness of the body through alignment, and challenges them on their own physicality, towards achieving their personal health and fitness goal.

Tamara’s journey with Pilates began during her teenage years as a part of her dance studio’s curriculum. Intrigued by the graceful movements and the mind-body connection it offered, she delved deeper into pursuing certification in Pilates in 2019 through the PhysicalMind Institute. Tamara firmly believes in the transformative power of connecting with the breath and body through movement, especially in today’s fast-paced society. She is committed to sharing her passion for Pilates with others, guiding them on their journey to cultivate mindfulness, strength, and vitality through movement and breath

Kambra pilates instructor

Kambra

Kambra is a fully certified comprehensive Pilates instructor with over 500 hours of training and more than 20 years’ experience in the fitness industry. She  brings energy to her classes, while focusing on correct body posture and alignment. With a passion for helping clients achieve their personal fitness goals, Kimbra’s sessions are motivating and  effective.  She continues to dive deeper into her Pilates training through workshops and education.
